2017 MacDonald-Brower Sustainability Fellowship

The Department of City and Regional Planning at UNC-Chapel Hill is excited to announce a new funded internship opportunity for DCRP graduate students to support a summer work-based learning opportunity at either the City of Raleigh or the North Carolina Environmental Justice Network (see descriptions below). Through the generosity of DCRP alumnus Scott MacDonald, DCRP will be able to offer a $5,000 stipend to support a summer internship placement at one of these two sponsoring organizations.  Learn more

University Career Services (UCS) is located in Hanes Hall. UCS helps students needing to choose a major or plan their career, students and recent graduates needing to find an internship or job and employers searching for talented UNC students and graduates to fill positions. The website provides extensive information about their services, and UCS also welcomes personal visits as well as questions by telephone or email. UCS prides itself on its “high-tech, high-touch” model, using state-of-the-art technology to make information available and processes easy for students and employers, while providing personalized one-on-one service.
